Nassim Soleimanpour, a young Iranian man, is a conscientious objector who refused his mandatory military service and is now forbidden to leave his country. Soleimanpour turned his isolation into a poignant and humorous play. He dissects the experience of a generation born amidst the hardship of the Iran-Iraq war. The work requires no director, no set, and features different readers for each performance. The readers are notable theater personalities who do not receive the script prior to going on stage. Nassim Soleimanpour: White Rabbit, Red Rabbit is made possible in association with Aurora Nova Productions.
