Strawdog Theatre Company’s Hugen Hall will be home to the premiere of the popular graphic novel Kill Shakespeare. In this dark tale, the Bard’s most famous heroes like Hamlet and Juliet embark upon a journey to discover a long-lost soul and battle the evil forces led by Richard III and more. It’s packed with action, romance, music, comedy, lust, drama and bloody violence.

Sunday: 12 p.m.
Monday & Tuesday: 8 p.m.

The ensemble performs a blend of sketch and improv in this comedy show. Performances by guest troupes and stand-up comics round out the night.

Local improv sensation Potential Boyfriends now performs their weekly improv, sketch, and stand-up comedy showcase EVERY Tuesday night at 8:00pm at Studio BE.  Potential Boyfriends has been hosting their showcase at Studio BE weekly for almost two years without a break. Each week, Potential Boyfriends performs their signature long form improv set, while inviting Chicago’s best improv, sketch, and stand-up groups to open up the night.

You may ask yourself, “what is bioluminescence?” It’s the chemical reaction by which certain species generate light, and this exhibit gives you a close look into this natural phenomenon. Experience this glowing, magical wonder with recreated environments, live animals and interactive models.

Fun fact: deepen your experience by interacting with iPads, which offer engaging videos, animations, photographs and additional in-depth content.

The cave paintings in Lascaux cave in southern France are recognized as the world’s premier example of prehistoric art. The Field Museum’s exhibition Scenes from the Stone Age: The Cave Paintings of Lascaux features a monumental re-creation of the cave with full-size replicas of paintings, including some shown for the first time to the public!
