When you think of the big city you don't think of nature. But then you aren't thinking about Chicago. Chicago's existence originated because of it's natural features- it's connection between rivers and Lake Michigan. It is still heavily nature focused, with all eyes on the lakeshore. Chicago has an elaborate park network that really personifies the neighborhoods' character. And our two zoos- the free Lincoln Park Zoo and the Brookfield Zoo- are real crowd pleasers.
