A nine minutes walk away from the hotel, pizza lovers can enjoy a delicious stuffed pizza at Giordano’s. The crust is a mix between a pie and a croissant so you might be pleasantly surprised by the texture of it! Spinach, garlic, and sausage are some of the favorite ingredients to select for their pizzas. These super thick pizzas take a while to cook, so optionally order by phone 30 minutes in advance to make your dining experience better.
Giordano is only 0.5 miles away from the Carlton Inn Midway. If you choose to go by car, parking shouldn’t be an issue as the parking lot is quite spacious and there is plenty of street parking too.

If you’re craving seafood, and are chained to chains, you might want to let go of local dining options and instead select The Red Lobster. Cheddar bay biscuits, crab legs and shrimp scampi are the highlights of the restaurant; however feedback indicates that you should expect a wait of at least thirty minutes- call ahead to check wait times if that matters. The Red Lobster is located 0.4 miles from the hotel and it should take you approximately eight minutes to walk there.
Do note that many full service Mexican restaurants in our area also have delicious seafood options.

Slightly further but still worth the walk you will find another Mexican restaurant, La Cebollita. It will take you twenty minutes to get there on foot as it is a mile away. There you can enjoy real, authentic Mexican in a clean and spacious restaurant. The polite staff can serve you steak tacos or horchata which are both recommended by our guests. If you like bistec, you might want to consider ordering some as a reviewer passionately shares that “on a scale from 1 – 10, it’s a 10.”
