Join hundreds of thousands in celebrating Chicago’s rich jazz history in this free event, the first of which began as a tribute to Duke Ellington in 1974. Currently the largest, free festival of its kind in the world, the Chicago Jazz Festival regularly draws top names in the genre.
The 35th annual Chicago Jazz Festival will be held in Millennium Park as well as the Chicago Cultural Center and Roosevelt University’s Ganz Hall.
Thursday – Chicago Cultural Center: 12 – 3 p.m.
Thursday – Roosevelt University’s Ganz Hall: 5 – 6 p.m.
Thursday – Millennium Park: 6:30 p.m.
Friday: 2 – 10 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.
