Following two performances at Coachella, Neko Case will extend her North American tour with a string of new shows, including a performance at The Chicago Theatre. The Dodos will be the special guest. This will be her first reserved-seat downtown appearance in five years.
Case recently kicked off her 2014 tour in support of 2013’s The Worse Things Get, The Harder I Fight, The Harder I Fight, The More I Love You, (Anti-). The Grammy-nominated album was included on year-end lists from Rolling Stone, NPR, TIME, Pitchfork, SPIN, Variety and more. “Case remains essentially peerless,” said NPR. “No one sounds like her…every little revelation feels altogether new.”
Praised by Rolling Stone as “one of America’s best and most ambitious songwriters,” Case captivated audiences while touring last year. The Guardian praised the “gothic beauty” of a recent concert in London, with “every note pitch perfect, every lyric aimed straight at the heart.”
